Great list, Lexx! Impressed that you even got 3 Dots & a Dash in there! And it’s a great way to follow a game at Wrigley. Chicago really is a great city with so much to do. You’ve got us wanting to get back to Chi-town!

I enjoyed reading your post. I can’t believe I have not visited Chicago yet. The thing is that a long weekend would not do it for me because of the time change. I need at least 4 days and that would not even be enough to take a good look at the city. I would like to do a river cruise, visit the Millennium Park and eat some pizza. We had some once while waiting for a flight in Chicago’s airport but i guess that doesn’t count. #feetdotravel

Well I hope you get to visit soon – it’s such a great city and definitely very different from California! I can’t wait to go back!

I’m a stuffed pizza girl for life 🙂 I want to try the aquarium and museums you mentioned, we still have yet to do those in Chicago. Great list!

I’ve never been to Chicago, and to be honest, it really hasn’t been on my radar. However, my daughter wants us to go. Her interest plus this detailed post might have just pushed me over the edge into planning a trip!

It’s my favourite city in the States and there is plenty to see and do! You should definitely listen to your daughter!

Chicago has evaded me so far but I know exactly what to do now when I get there. 3 dots and a dash is a must but I’ll have to do that after I’ve avoided the traffic on the bike track. So cute. 19 things are now pinned for my future Chicago adventure.

So nice to see a list that isn’t just go to the bean! I really like the idea of Open House weekend, we had something similar in London this year but we were away for it. Definitely adding to the list for next year! Fingers crossed we make it to Chicago too…

Yeah the Bean sure is popular but there is much to see and do in the city! Yeah I should try and check out the London Open House next year too – some great buildings on this year’s list!

You must have reached the Bean early, I’ve never seen a picture of it with so few people. I do remember the famous Chicago Bulls team of the 90’s so it would be special to see a Basketball game there. I hear a lot about ‘the loop’ so I’d love to see it for myself!

It was around 8:30 am so yeah I was pretty lucky. I came past later and it was packed with people even on a cold gloomy day! I am planning to go to a Bulls game on my next visit!

Chicago sounds fab… I love Boston for the same reasons. The Citypass Boston was great value as well, for arts and sights like the Skydeck in Chicago. Plus we’re big Boston sports fans so could go support the Bruins on an away game 😉 #feetdotravel
