Well, 2016 is almost over and it’s time to recap another 12 awesome months of travel. It was also my first full year of blogging as Travel Lexx and I’ve had an absolute blast along the way!
So, here are my highlights of 2016!
Well, 2016 is almost over and it’s time to recap another 12 awesome months of travel. It was also my first full year of blogging as Travel Lexx and I’ve had an absolute blast along the way!
So, here are my highlights of 2016!
There is never a shortage of things to see and do in the City of Love. From grand palaces and celebrated art museums to beautifully landscaped gardens and romantic walks along the Seine, Paris is teeming with opportunities for exploring. However, there is a lot more to the city than the usual suspects of Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and Sacré-Cœur so I decided to try and get off the beaten track on my latest visit to France’s eclectic capital.
Bridges have always fascinated me, from ropes stretching across rushing rivers and deep canyons to great feats of modern engineering linking entire countries together. There are some incredible bridges in all corners of the world and I’ve put together my top 5 from the ones I’ve had the pleasure of seeing first hand.
I tend to be quite spontaneous when it comes to travel but as I wrote on the blog a few weeks back, travel shows are a great opportunity to book some trips for the coming year at great prices.
Since booking those, however, I have managed to book another three trips for 2016 (I really don’t know how I am going to afford all of them!).
