Hiking is one of the most fulfilling ways to travel. Breathing the fresh air, taking in spectacular scenery and exploring nature using your own two feet is a great way to experience a destination. I wanted to put together a list of the best hikes in the world but to make it work I needed some help!
There are plenty of reasons to visit Yellowstone National Park. As well as being the first National Park in the world (designated in 1872), it’s a place of simply outstanding natural beauty. From geysers and waterfalls to forests and lakes, Yellowstone is bursting with things to do and see.
A hike in Seoraksan National Park was one of the few that I definitely wanted to do on my visit to Korea. Its stunning rock formations and abundance of flora and fauna earned it a status of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
While I love the hustle and bustle of cities, there is nothing like escaping from it all and getting close to nature. National Parks are always high on my list of places to visit on my travels – from stunning geological formations to dense forests to rare wildlife, national parks have it all.
