“One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things” – Henry Miller
MBK Center, Bangkok, Thailand
The MBK Center is one of Bangkok’s most famous and popular shopping malls with hundreds of retailers, two food courts, numerous restaurants and a cinema multiplex.
The elevated walkways over the Pathum Wan junction offer an insightful glimpse into Bangkok life. At night, the streets come alive with activity and neon signs light up the area.
It’s almost impossible not to stop and watch the nose-to-tail traffic streak by for a while. This is one of my favourite places to come and watch the city – it’s almost like a beating heart of Bangkok.
I had my camera with me this time and played around with shutter speed settings and managed to take this shot. My skills are very limited but I quite liked how the photo came out.
