The Windy City. Second City. Chi-Town. While it has many nicknames, Chicago has plenty more reasons why you should stop off on the shores of Lake Michigan on your next visit to the Midwest. From high sporting drama to landmark architecture to the finest restaurants, the City by the Lake has it all!

- Where In The World?
While I love the hustle and bustle of cities, there is nothing like escaping from it all and getting close to nature. National Parks are always high on my list of places to visit on my travels – from stunning geological formations to dense forests to rare wildlife, national parks have it all.
The biggest island in Hong Kong also happens to be one of its most scenic. Only a ferry ride away from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, Lantau offers an alternative HK experience. The island’s twisting roads take visitors through dense forest, up mountains and past picturesque beaches and settlements.
Bridges have always fascinated me, from ropes stretching across rushing rivers and deep canyons to great feats of modern engineering linking entire countries together. There are some incredible bridges in all corners of the world and I’ve put together my top 5 from the ones I’ve had the pleasure of seeing first hand.
Love Your Luggage
You’ve settled on your perfect trip, saving money is going well and you can’t wait to get going. You’re wishing time would go quicker and bring you closer to your adventure. Buying something for your trip can sometimes make this wait a little easier.
I don’t really do resolutions. I have never smoked and only drink socially – so nothing I need to quit. I eat relatively healthily and don’t feel like I need to cut down on anything. I exercise up to 6 days a week – and yes, I will put my hands up, I am not that happy about newbies invading my gym (but it’s ok, they will be gone in about 5 weeks, never to be seen again).
So just like that, 2015 is over. Hopefully you have all had a fantastic break but now that 2016 has drifted around the corner, tyres screeching, we can all get back to the business of planning more awesome travels!
But before I embrace the new year completely, here is a quick look back at 2015:
January: I escaped the cold London weather and headed for the warm climes of Australia for a 2 week break in Melbourne and Sydney.
