Wow that’s quite a year you’ve had! Inspiring stuff! Kotor is definitely on our list after reading yours and David’s posts. We’re heading to Amsterdam next year for Kings Day to meet some friends, looking forward to that weekend! And brilliant selfie in Kyoto, that will be hard to beat.

What a bloomin fantastic year you have had!! Wow, you packed so much in and had so many amazing experiences! I have pinned your Chaing Mai post for when we visit 😀 Loved that you went to Amsterdam for King’s Day, despite visiting there 9 times we have missed that (need to go back then!). I thoroughly enjoyed reading your posts on your trips to Croatia, France and Japan but I want to know more about your bullet train and Neuschwanstein Castle experiences … watch this space I hope! So, here’s to many more exciting adventures for Travel Lexx in 2017 – can’t wait to find out more! Happy New Year to you #feetdotravel

Angie, thanks so much for all your support! It’s been a pleasure! I absolutely love Chiang Mai and am still harbouring dreams of living there one day! I’ve only been to Amsterdam once but I guess I made it count! Hope you have a fantastic 2017 too and sounds like you already are!

Wow, you really made it to some cool places this year. I think that must be one of the best things about living in Europe – amazing places seem to be really accessible. Have a great new year!

You’ve had such an adventurous year!! I can’t wait to see what 2017 brings you! I was supposed to head to Germany for the Christmas markets as well but had a change of plans -sadly- but I’m hoping to make it there in 2017!

That’s a shame but there is always next year! Definitely recommend Munich around Christmas – plenty to see and do and it’s so beautiful when under a cover of snow!

Thank you! I was very lucky (and clever with my annual leave – like going to Morocco over Easter) to maximise my travelling opportunities! It will be hard to match but I will give it a go!

Outstanding! Curious what you think is the overall highlight of the year. I suspect you’d say Japan and the bullet train, but…Moroccan food? I mean, c’mon! That’s got to be hard to top! 🙂

Hmm, that’s a really tough one! Being back in Thailand is always great so Koh Chang would be right up there. Japan was fantastic and all the food I ate throughout the year was so good!
